A Bit of History

The market has long been a meeting point for locals, where generations of vendors have sold fresh produce, flowers, and regional specialties in a lively, authentic atmosphere.
Local Tip
Walk through the upper and lower levels before buying anything. You’ll get a better sense of prices and can spot more authentic vendors frequented by locals.
Be Aware!
Some stalls now cater more to tourists, with higher prices on certain products compared to local markets elsewhere in the city.
